One morning I got a phone call from a Connexions advisor to tell me about the Family Learning Programme. I thought I would attend because it seemed like I would get something out of it. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to any young parent or parent-to-be.

I then heard about the Talent 4 Life childcare course and thought it would be fun and interesting - so I went for it and loved it. I've met loads of new mates and have learned a lot.

My son has also met new friends there at the nursery - he never wants to leave! I strongly recommend young parent or parent-to-be courses as you get so much out of it and you also get to meet other young parents and learn about their circumstances.
